The commission process is easy and safe.  Please view my drawings, and decide if I'm the right artist for you.  As an artist, I am able to translate your photo into a work of art that you and your loved ones can enjoy for a lifetime.      Drawing has been a part of my life since a very early age.  Even though I have some formal training in the fine arts, most of what I've learned is self-taught; through art books, videos (VHS)  artist workshops and years of practice.  Back in the mid 80"s I learned how to sculpt heads so I could understand the effect shadows have on a 3-D human face.  This knowledge helped my drawings come to life.  My area of expertise are the eyes, I make my drawings look "alive".       I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to explore many visual art mediums but the one that captures my heart is pencil drawing.  I hope you enjoy my drawings and artistic style.   Thanks for stopping by  Nancy Kennedy
My drawings are made in the classical method of crosshatching. This method involves many hours to complete a drawing.	I use graphite pencils on archival grade paper to produce clean crisp lines. No smudging or erasing are ever done on my drawings.
